Players who already play but read too slowly — and the teachers working with them. If you can get through a piece by ear or from memory yet stall on the page, that's the gap NoteTrail closes. It is not a first-lessons app.

Yes. Onboarding asks for your level — Improving, Intermediate or Advanced — and starts you at the matching tier, with Intermediate as the default. Whatever you pick, the whole ladder stays open: tap any tier on the home screen to jump straight to it.

There are no accounts or rosters. Ask the student to open the Progress tab and tap the share button — they'll get a plain-text summary with overall accuracy, current streak, a per-clef breakdown and the specific notes needing work, which they can send you by message or email.

Check the microphone permission in iOS Settings → NoteTrail. Play single notes clearly in a quiet room — sustained chords and heavy pedal blur the pitch detector, and very fast repeated notes can merge. It works with acoustic and digital pianos; if you're using headphones, the sound never reaches the mic.

A spaced-repetition engine schedules every note you've met: the ones you hesitate on come back sooner, the ones you know arrive just before you'd forget them. Miss a note mid-session and it returns until you clear it, so a session never ends on an unresolved mistake.

NoteTrail Pro is $4.99/month or $29.99/year after a 7-day free trial. Cancel any time in App Store → your profile → Subscriptions; cancelling keeps Pro until the period ends. Use Settings → Restore Purchases if you've reinstalled. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Streak freezes cover a single missed day automatically: you earn one per 7-day run, and one for clearing all three daily quests. If something looks genuinely wrong, email us with what happened.
